On April 19, 2016 the head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries of the Russian Federation adopted timetable for the barque Sedov. Sailing training ship will navigate two trips in 2016. The ship will set sails from port of Svetliy, Kaliningrad region, Northwestern Russia.

Sailing training ship Sedov will visit biggest German, Belgian, French, Spainish, Portuguese ports. It is expected that barque will take part in the international sailing regattas of Europe, among them is "Kieler Woche" in Kiel.
STS Sedov will call at Belgian port Antwerp, where famous international regatta "The Tall Ships Races 2016" will start. Sedov will join the participants of maritime festival in the French port Brest. During return journey to native shores STS Sedov once more represents Russia on maritime festival Hanse Sail. Overall distance of two voyages is 9,061 nautical miles. The barque also calls at exotic island Madeira, and one of the most ancient European town Cadiz. All these ports will have been remained after the stern in the end of journey.
